Alocasia Elephant's Ear Plant

Alocasia or elephant ear has large rhizomes or tubers that produce enormous heart-shaped or arrow-shaped ears.

Plants will vary. We will do our best to ensure the plant ordered matches the image of the Plant.

• LIGHT: bright indirect light.Can tolerate low indirect light. Not suited for intense, direct sun.
• WATER: Water every 1-2 weeks. Allow soil to dry out between waterings. Increase frequency with increased light. Keep Alocasia plants moist all year; they are water-loving plants. You want to keep the soil moist, but not soggy. They require less water during the winter months because the plant is dormant.
• Allow the top few inches of soil to become nearly dry before watering. This will help keep the soil evenly moist. Soggy soil makes the plant susceptible to fungal infections.
